December 15, 2009 - Rack-Soft launched today the VoipNow Core software solution, a distributed, grow-as-you-wish VoIP services delivery platform designed for Service Providers. With VoipNow Core, functions like SIP trunking, VoIP wholesale and PSTN gateway can be rapidly implemented without infrastructure overhead and additional expensive equipment. The entire platform is based on modern cloud computing technologies and requires standard x86 compatible servers.
VoipNow Core allows Service Providers to build a carrier class VoIP infrastructure with minimal costs, while focusing on future scalability, redundancy, manageability and automation. The system integrates a powerful SIP server with full media control capabilities and media gateway to PSTN features using standard ISDN PRI PCI cards.
