Cisco Pioneers End-to-End Data Center Fabric Convergence

Cisco Systems, a leading networking company headquartered in San Jose, California, has added a new solution that integrates Cisco's Unified Fabric, Unified Computing, and Unified Network Services. This integration creates a secure, simple to manage, and scalable data center fabric, which can deliver any application from data center to data center, within the data center or within the cloud. Cloud computing enables on-demand application use over a network.

Cisco’s new "intelligent" fabric is the first of its kind that provides end-to-end data center fabric convergence. Cisco has recently completed several technology innovations for all of their Data Center Business Advantage offerings, which include; the Nexus 7000 series, the Nexus 5000 series, the Nexus 3000 series, the MDS storage switches, the Unified Computing System, the Data Center Network Manager, and the NX-OS (data center operating system).
