Zoho Introduces Subforms

Zoho, a leader in cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for businesses of all sizes has released additional features and functionality for its popular Zoho Creator application. Introducing subforms to their Creator application will allow users to more fully record multiple customer records for the same customer while separating them into relevant subcategories.

In the example cited by Zoho in its release notes, subforms will allow for multiple records for an individual student that are separated into useful categories. In this particular example, one student would have a subform for each individual course that he/she is enrolled in that are also joined under one entry for the particular student. This eliminates the need for multiple entries for each course as well as eliminating the need for confusing entities with multiple entries.

Zoho subforms will also have Deluge Power included in them so that users are able to make changes to subforms and their parent form and add workflows, business rules, and more to increase their specificity.

Zoho has been a leader in the cloud-based CRM movement and is well known for a comprehensive set of business tools and a steady stream of updates and improvements to their product offerings. Zoho Creator is among their family of CRM products that encompass everything from business accounting and finance to comprehensive customer data and analytics.
