After licensing negotiations with Skype recently fell through Fring, a new VoIP provider, just launched FringOut. This new calling service lets people use their Fring app for outbound calls to non-Fring users on either landline or mobile phones. Fring hopes to compete directly with Skype’s SkypeOut service. While this app only runs on the Nokia S60 there are obviously plans to expand. They hope to be on the iPhone and Android shortly.
