TringMe Launches VoIP Calling Facebook App

TringMe has joined the ranks of VoIP apps that integrate into Facebook and let you add calling widgets and make calls within Facebook. This is a nice feature and uses TringMe's Flash-based tools that make calls from within Flash, making them effective across most of the internet. TringMe also recently demonstrated the same functionality using Silverlight.

TringMe’s app lets users embed call-me widgets into their Facebook pages and also lets you send SMS messages within Facebook. You can use most of the standard VoIP calling functions.

Other services that offer VoIP finctionality from withinFacebook include Skype with similar functionality to the TringMe app and iotum's Calliflower which adds conference calling functionality.
