You may have noticed that ERP software is fairly expensive to implement. It can easily cost tens of thousands of dollars at a small business, and even more at a large corporation. There are a few software applications that are surprisingly cheap, however, so you may want to give them a look.

24SevenOffice – This ERP solution is available for a small monthly fee. It can assist your company with project planning, document sharing, online collaboration, and project reporting. It also lets you assign tasks to specific resources and track task updates to see if they have been complete. System specifications are quite reasonable – you can have up to 25 products per user and receive 5 GB of storage space.

The software has a free version that is suitable for five users or less. It includes all the major functions, though there is a maximum of 2 products per user and storage space is set at 2 GB. If you work at a small company, however, that may be all that is needed. Norwegian and Swedish versions of the software are also available.

Intaact – Intaact offers accounting and financial management software at a surprisingly reasonable price. They can help your company to manage cash inflows, automate project billing, organize tasks and budgets, and integrate product activities. It also has specific versions of the software for healthcare companies, nonprofit organizations, and the hospitality industry.

The software was a Top 100 winner at On Demand, and a 2011 SIIA Codie Finalist. They also have recorded demos that you can watch to see the ERP solution in action. In addition, Intaact has webinars on a weekly basis that you can attend for free and ask questions about the software.

AdvancePro – AdvancePro is another affordable solution for small and mid size businesses. It can assist with just about everything - inventory management, products management management, order management, purchasing management, work orders, and so forth. It also fully integrates with Quickbooks and can help you to set up a completely wireless warehouse.

They have more than 3000 customers, and are partnered with Amazon.com and TrueCommerce. The software is a Microsoft ‘Gold Certified’ application, which helps to show its overall reliability. The company also offers a 30 day money back guarantee, so you won’t be out any money if you decide you’d prefer something else.

pc/MRP – This is a fully integrated ERP solution available at a fairly cheap price. It automatically comes with ten modules: Sales, Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, Invoicing, Bills of Materials, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Stock Room, and Address Book. It can also be modified for manufacturing and distributing operations, and has a multi-user version available.

The software is fully compatible with Quickbooks, Excel, Outlook, and Access. It allows credit and debit memos, as well as automatic billing statements. You can also download a trial version of the software for free.
