Microsoft, one of the most well known and successful software giants in the world, recently released a new out-of-the-box connector that will save customers time and money. The connector will help customers “connect” or bridge Microsoft’s Dynamics AX solution with their Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution. Microsoft Dynamics AX is one of Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) offerings. The new connector will not only “connect” Dynamics AX and Dynamics CRM, but will help customers migrate to Microsoft’s data platform. A connector already exists for Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM and Dynamics GP solutions as well as Dynamics CRM and Dynamics NAV solutions. Microsoft has plans to release a tool to bridge or “connect” Dynamics CRM with their Dynamics SL solution by the end of 2011. Dynamics GP, Dynamics NAV, and Dynamics SL are all Microsoft ERP solutions.
